Minho -> Captain Li Shang
Shang is almost a prince okay, he is a Chinese army captain! Who was promoted to General in the second movie, don’t judge my choice. The most obvious reason why Minho would be Shang if he was a Disney prince would be their strong physique. He is also a very reserved person (what Minho used to be like), and he’s very thoughtful. Minho himself is someone who is very caring to the people around him so they’ve got that in common. Also, Shang is known to get on the soldiers’ nerves for being too by-the-book, and Minho is exactly like that, following all the rules all the time.
Onew -> Prince Edward
Do I even need to explain this one? While Onew might not be as narcissistic as Prince Edward, they have alot of similarities. Prince Edward loves singing, Onew loves singing. Prince Edward is so silly and Onew is just a huge ball of dorkiness. Also, Prince Edward might be the clumsiest Disney prince yet, and Onew.. well you can see for yourself. Prince Edward is also terribly pure and naive when it comes to love, and while I can’t say if Onew is still like that now, previous interviews about ideal girl/his first kiss have always gotten some very frantic and innocent answers from him. Plus they both have wide, dazzling smiles ok.
Taemin -> Prince
Strangely the prince in Snow White doesn’t have a name but anyway if i had to link Taemin to a Disney prince, it would be him! He has stated that his ideal girl is someone who is nice and cute and to me, Snow White is the cutest Disney princess. Snow White fell into a deep sleep after taking a bite of the apple, and based on Taemin’s extreme love for food, of course he would end up kissing the Disney princess who tastes like a fruit.
Key -> Aladdin
I know, I know, Aladdin isn’t a prince either. He is a prince in my heart okay so it counts! He marries Jasmine in the end anyway so he’s a prince, sort of. The reason why I chose Key to be Aladdin is because of the fact that unlike most of the Disney heroes, Aladdin isn’t just a passive character. He is a doer who acts and gets things done, kind of like Key’s personality. Aladdin also has his moments of insecurity when he thinks that who he is isn’t enough, and while it might not apply to females in the case of Key, he does have his obvious insecure moments. Aladdin is also able to make impromptu decisions to save his own ass whenever he gets into trouble, kind of like how Key is able to improvise on TV shows.
Jonghyun -> Prince Eric
Prince Eric almost drowns when he goes back for his dog Max during a sudden storm. This immediately reminded me of Jonghyun and his love for his puppy! He then falls in love with Ariel’s voice and vows to find her after she sings to him while he was still unconscious, and this is so Jonghyun, to be infatuated with someone with a pretty voice. Don’t forget that Prince Eric was stupid enough to believe that Ursula in disguise was the person who saved him from drowning, and Jonghyun can be pretty dumb at times (I say this endearingly).
